From north to south, east to west, follow the many marked trails at your own pace and in complete safety.
With over 150 km of cycle paths, the Ile d’Oléron is a paradise for cycling enthusiasts. With your hair blowing in the wind and your hands on the handlebars, take a stroll through the marshes, the national forest, the typical villages, along the seafront or through the oyster beds and fish passes, and observe the rich and varied flora and fauna.

Hiking trails
New in 2024, discover the Chemin d’Oléron, 105 km of hiking between marsh and forest to discover the Ile d’Oléron in a whole new way!
Follow the guided tours offered by the tourist offices, with themes such as “From the dune to the forest”, “A story of man and water”, “The strange world of night”… The “Les Sorties de la Renarde” association also offers guided walks to discover all the treasures of the Ile d’Oléron.
