Is the campsite VACAF approved?

No.

Are there pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes?

The campsite is independent and family-friendly.

What labels or certifications does the campsite have?

Where is the campsite located?

On the Ile d’Oléron, more in the middle of the island on the Atlantic side, between La Cotinière and Domino.

Do I have to pay for the bridge?

No.

Where’s the nearest beach?

The Sables Vignier beach is 1.8km from the campsite. Beautiful sandy beach with lifeguard surveillance in July and August, suitable for families.

Where to shop?

Carrefour Contact in Chéray 2.5km away, or Leclerc, Super U, Lidl and Aldi in St Pierre d’Oléron 5km away.

Where are there markets?

There are markets every morning in all the villages in July and August. Alternatively, there’s the Chéray market every morning, 2.5km from the campsite.

Is there Wifi at the campsite?

The campsite is fully covered by wifi.

How easy is it to get to the bike paths?

Yes, about 500m from the campsite. A map of cycle paths is provided on arrival.

Does the summer shuttle stop in front of the campsite?

A little further along the same road that passes in front of the campsite. See routes on the CdC website.

Can we rent bicycles at the campsite?

Contact our partner Beach Bike (promotional code sent to the campsite after booking to benefit from a 10% discount).

What are the differences between mobile home categories?

Number of bedrooms, age and level of equipment. All mobile homes have a shared inventory, some have a dishwasher, and the “+” have air conditioning.

Are there any PRM mobile homes?

No.

Are the mobile homes recent?

The ages of the mobile homes are shown in the description. The oldest are over 15 years old, but are still in perfect condition. The most recent mobile homes were built in 2026.

Is the campsite divided into two parts?

The campsite is separated by a local road that serves other campsites and the beach.
On the larger part, you’ll find the reception, swimming pool, city-stadium, playgrounds, mini-farm, foodtrucks and Guitoune (bread and pastries, small grocery store and snack bar).
On the smaller side, you’ll find the wellness area, the gym, a small playground, the mini-club, the bar and evening entertainment.
Mobile homes are available on both sides of the campsite, with no difference in quality.

Is it safe to move from one side to the other?

Both sides of the campsite are gated. The road is equipped with two large speed bumps to slow down cars, which are limited to 30 km/h, and crosswalks for safe crossing.

What facilities are available for children?

From May to September, children can enjoy 2 play areas, maxi-trampolines, a city-stadium and ping-pong tables. They can also visit the animals at the mini-farm and, of course, have fun in the pool and on the slides. In July and August, activities include a mini-club, creative workshops, pony rides, face painting and archery.

Are there charging points for electric cars at the campsite?

No. There are charging stations in Chéray, in the Godeau parking lot, or next to the tourist office in Saint-Pierre-d’Oléron.

Can you charge your electric car using a mobile home socket?

No, the mobile home’s electrical system does not allow electric cars to be recharged.

Is it safe at night? Are there barriers?

Access to the campsite by car is by magnetic card all year round. In July and August, the gates are closed from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., making it impossible to enter or leave the campsite by car. In case of emergency, a guard is on hand to open the gates.

Is there any waste management?

The campsite is very committed to waste management and offers a complete sorting platform: bins for household waste, sorting bags for cardboard, plastic and all packaging, bins for glass, bioseau for compost, sorting of shells and corks. There is only one sorting platform on the campsite, which is kept clean and tidy to avoid visual and olfactory nuisance.

How can I find out the rates?

Is there a tourist tax?

The tourist tax is €0.66 per person over 18 and per night. It is calculated at the time of booking and paid with the balance of your stay.

Does a baby under the age of 2 count as a participant?

A baby under the age of 2 counts as one person. For example, there can’t be 2 adults, 2 children and 1 one-year-old baby in a rental for up to 4 people.

Can minors occupy a mobile home on their own without an adult present?

Even with a parental waiver, unaccompanied minors may not rent or occupy a mobile home without the presence of an adult.

Can we choose our location?

To choose your pitch, please contact the campsite on 05 46 76 69 07 or by e-mail at contact@campinglabouliniere.com. It’s best to choose your pitch before booking, to make sure it’s right for you. If you wait too long, the campsite will not be able to change your pitch, as the others may already be allocated.

Can several mobile homes be booked side by side?

Yes, it is possible to book several rentals close to each other. To choose your mobile home, please contact us on 05 46 76 69 07 or by e-mail at contact@campinglabouliniere.com.

Which mobile homes have air conditioning?

Mobile homes in a category with “+” are equipped with air conditioning.

How do I make a reservation?

Wherever you are on the website, you always have access to the “Book” button in the top right-hand corner. Simply enter the dates of your stay and choose your rental. The site will ask you for your contact details and the names of those taking part in the holiday. A 25% deposit is required to confirm your reservation.

What payment methods are available?

You can pay directly by credit card online, send a cheque or vacation vouchers by post, make a bank transfer or pay by Chèques-Vacances Connect.

Can I pay in instalments?

It is only possible to pay in instalments if the booking is made more than one month before arrival. 25% deposit to be paid on booking, then :

  • Reservations made more than 3 months in advance: the balance is payable in 2 instalments: 50% three months before arrival and 50% (+ tourist tax) one month before arrival.
  • Reservations made between 3 and 1 month before arrival: the balance is payable one month before arrival.

If the reservation is made less than one month before arrival, the stay must be paid in full at the time of booking.

Do I have to pay anything at the time of booking?

If booked more than one month before arrival: 25% deposit on booking. If the reservation is made less than one month before arrival, the stay must be paid in full at the time of booking.

Can I modify my reservation after it has been confirmed?

Subject to availability and with the agreement of the Management, it is possible to modify your reservation by e-mail. If the change is made less than one month before arrival, it will be charged at €35.

Is there cancellation insurance?

You can take out Neat Camping’s Flex+ holiday cancellation and interruption insurance at the time of booking for 4% of the rental price. General cancellation conditions are available in the “Documents to download” section.

Do I have to leave a deposit?

A deposit of €400 is required on arrival. It is not cashed and is returned on departure if everything is in order. This deposit can be paid by check or credit card.

Are pets allowed? Is there an extra charge?

One pet, dog or cat, is allowed per rental. The supplement is €4 per day. The animal must be declared before arrival and, if possible, at the time of booking, as not all mobile homes can accommodate animals. Pets must be vaccinated, identified and kept on a leash in the campsite. Pets must not be left alone in the rental unit (risk of damage, barking or heatstroke). Feces must be picked up.

Are sheets included in the rental price?

Bed linen is optional and must be ordered at the time of booking. If they are added less than one month before arrival, the change will be charged €35 in addition to the cost of sheets.

Is there a barbecue? A plancha?

Each rental is equipped with an electric plancha, with a small folding table to set it up outside the terrace on the plot.

Is TV included in all mobile homes?

All rentals are equipped with TV with TNT channels.

Is WIFI available in the rental?

Each holiday participant receives a code to connect to the campsite Wi-Fi with one device. The Wi-Fi network works throughout the campsite and in the rentals.

What time can we arrive?

Saturday arrivals start at 2 pm. This timetable may vary according to the number of guests or sanitary conditions. Arrival and departure times are always communicated before your stay.

How do you deal with late arrivals?

In the event of late arrival, please notify the campsite by telephone on 05 46 76 69 07 or by e-mail at contact@campinglabouliniere.com. A map is left at reception with your name and directions to your mobile home. The inventory of fixtures has already been made and you can settle in. You’ll need to go to reception the next morning for check-in formalities.

Can I add a tent next to my mobile home?

Only with the agreement of the Management and if the number of people on the plot does not exceed the capacity of the mobile home.

Can I park my car next to my mobile home? How many cars? Secure parking?

Only one vehicle may be parked on the plot for the duration of your stay. You can bring in a 2ᵉ vehicle only on arrival and departure to unload and load your belongings. During the stay, other vehicles will be parked in the indoor parking lot or in one of the outdoor parking lots.

What happens at the start?

For departure, you need to make an appointment with the reception staff to carry out an inventory of fixtures. Appointments are limited, so don’t wait until the last minute. A free cleaning kit with cleaning products is available the day before departure.

Do I have to count all the dishes on arrival and departure?

Dishes are not counted on arrival or departure. Only general condition and cleaning are checked.

Do we have to clean our rental before we leave?

The rental must be returned ready for re-letting. To help with end-of-stay cleaning, you can collect a free cleaning kit with cleaning products from reception the day before your departure. If you do not wish to do the end-of-stay cleaning, you can subscribe to the paying option at the time of booking or during your stay (subject to availability).

When is the aquatic area open?

The aquatic area is open from May 1 to September 20.

How is the aquatic area equipped?

The aquatic area features a 1,000 m² solarium with deckchairs and loungers, a large 200 m² covered and heated pool with a gentle slope, a covered and heated paddling pool with a small slide, 2 outdoor slides with a heated catch basin, and 2 outdoor aquaglide slides with heated water.

Is the pool area supervised?

Children are always under parental supervision, and unaccompanied children under 10 years of age are not allowed in the pool area. A lifeguard is present only in July and August.

Are the slides open out of season?

The slides are only open in the afternoon on request in May-June and September.

What are the opening hours?

In May, June and September the aquatic area is open from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm. In July and August, the aquatic area is open from 10:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. all week and 10:00 p.m. on Friday evenings (opening hours 2025).

What is the water temperature?

The water in the pool area is heated to 27°C.

Are swimming shorts allowed?

One-piece and two-piece bathing suits, briefs, boxer shorts and swim shorts are permitted.

Is the pool open to visitors?

Access to the aquatic area is strictly reserved for La Boulinière campsite guests.

Should I wear a bracelet?

On arrival, each guest is given a silicone swimming pool wristband. These wristbands must be worn to access the pool area (except for young children) and must be returned on departure.

Is there a teen club?

There’s no teen club with a sign-up schedule, but activities are offered throughout the week (teen meet-and-greet, virtual reality workshops, Carrera Go electric car circuit, FIFA and Just Dance tournaments, creative workshops, sports tournaments, etc.).

How does the mini-club work?

The campsite offers a mini-club for children aged 4 to 10, from Monday to Friday. The BAFA-qualified children’s activity leader welcomes children from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. A different activity schedule is offered each week, and children can sign up for any activity they like during the week.

Is there a charge for entertainment?

All children’s activities are free of charge. For adults, all activities and visits are free, except for additional creative workshops, which cost €15.

Can I have a copy of the entertainment schedule before my stay?

The activity schedule is sent 2 or 3 days before your arrival, in July and August. Registration begins after the welcome cocktail on Sunday morning.

Is there a mini-market on the campsite?

There’s no mini-market on the campsite, but a convenience store selling basic necessities is open only in July and August.

How far is the campsite from shops?

There’s a market in Chéray, 2.5 km from the campsite, open every morning, Domino 2 km away, and Saint-Pierre-d’Oléron, 5 km from the campsite, open every morning in summer. For supermarkets, there’s Carrefour Contact in Chéray, and Leclerc, Super U, Lidl and Aldi in Saint-Pierre-d’Oléron.

Is there a bread and pastries depot?

La Boulinière campsite offers bread and pastries to order, only in July and August.

Is there a restaurant?

There’s no restaurant at the campsite, but a different foodtruck is present every evening in July and August (moules-frites, burgers, galettes bretonnes, northern specialties, ribs and roast chicken, etc.). In the afternoons of July and August, the campsite’s Guitoune, next to the swimming pool, offers drinks, cocktails, ice creams, waffles, crêpes, paninis and more.

Is there a bar?

The campsite bar is open every evening in July and August (except Fridays and Saturdays, when La Guitoune is open until 8 p.m.). The bar is open until midnight when there’s a theme night (show, concert, dance), otherwise until 10 pm.

Are bicycles available for hire?

For bike rentals, contact our partner Beach Bikes, who delivers bikes directly to the campsite. When you confirm your booking, you’ll receive their contact details, rates and a promotional code.

Can we rent sheets?

Linen rental is available at the time of booking and is extra. If your stay is longer than a week, sheets are changed on Fridays.

Is it possible to rent baby equipment?

Baby equipment can be reserved at the time of booking. The campsite offers a cot, high chair, stroller, bath bouncer and bathtub.

Is there a launderette?

The laundry is open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Tokens are available at reception. You can use your own washing powder or buy tablets at reception.

Is there a private wellness area?

The private wellness area is open on Mondays and Wednesdays in summer by reservation only. It’s a very relaxing place with a whirlpool bath, a sauna and a hammam, a relaxation lounge and a beautiful Italian shower. This private area is available for €14 per person for one hour of relaxation.

Are massages available?

In summer, our masseuse Stéphanie welcomes you to the wellness area on Tuesdays and Thursdays by reservation only. She offers targeted or full-body massages of varying lengths, as well as a children’s massage.

What happens if I don’t take out cancellation insurance?

If you do not take out cancellation insurance :

  • In the event of cancellation more than 30 days before arrival, the campsite retains the deposit of 25% of the stay + options + 35 € booking fee;
  • In the event of cancellation less than 30 days before arrival, the full amount of the stay will be retained by the campsite.

What happens if I take out cancellation insurance?

If you take out Flex + cancellation insurance for 4% of the price of the stay + options :

  • If the reason for cancellation is included in the cancellation conditions, the insurance will reimburse you the sums paid, minus the cancellation insurance premium.
  • If the reason for cancellation is not included in the cancellation conditions, the insurance will reimburse 70% of the amount paid, minus the cancellation insurance premium.

What to do when it rains

It doesn’t often rain on the Ile d’Oléron, and our microclimate helps us keep the sun shining! However, in the event of bad weather, the reception team is on hand to advise you on various sheltered activities (cinema, museum, etc.).

What to do with children

The campsite offers a wide range of family activities. The reception team will be happy to advise you on such things as the Myocastors park, pony rides, the Prés Valet leisure park, boat trips, cruises around Fort Boyard, the Ferme aux Ânes, treasure hunts and more.

What water activities are available on Oléron?

The island of Oleron offers a multitude of water sports activities for all ages. Our partner Drop In Surf Academy can introduce you to surfing or help you perfect your skills. There are also numerous windsurfing and sand yachting schools. You can discover the island of Oleron in a different way, with canoe or paddle trips in the marshes.
